About Booking, Pricing and Cancellation

Choose the tour or cooking class you want to book on the page giving details on the tour or cooking class. Select the date/time and “BOOK YOUR EXPERIENCE” to finish the booking procedure. After completing your booking, you will receive an automatic e-mail confirmation.

Tickets for all tours and cooking classes have to be purchased in advance. Capacities are limited due to the size of the facilities we will visit on tours or the premises where we are going to cook. To buy tickets, please go to our booking page and choose a date that works for you.

The Zagreb Gourmet service can be canceled free of cancellation fees at the latest 7 days before the scheduled food tour or cooking class. If cancelled between 3 and 6 day before the scheduled food tour or cooking class, a 50 percent cancellation fee will be charged. If you cancel within 2 days before the scheduled departure, a 100 percent cancellation fee is due.
Considering our logistics and the arrangements we have with the venues for the cooking class or that we visit on our tours, we are unable to offer refunds on short notice. In order to issue a refund on tours or cooking classes canceled up to 6 days in advance, cancellation must be made via e-mail.

Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the city tour commencement are eligible for a refund for the full value of your booking. Cancellations received within 24 hours of departure are not eligible for refunds.

If the date you requested is not available, please do not hesitate to e-mail us and we can see if there is anything we can do. We cannot promise, but we will try our best to sort something out for you.

You do not have to print your voucher. A confirmation on your phone will be fine!

About the Food Tour

The meeting point is in front of the Visitor Center – Tourist Information Centre at Ban Jelačić Square 11.

The longer tour takes about 6 hours and involves a lot of standing. Some children/ages have a limited attention span that might be challenged by our story and food/wine tasting. We kindly ask that parents, by knowing their children best, decide or judge on their own whether the tour is appropriate for their children.

To join our Food Tour, you should desirably wear comfortable shoes. There will be around 1-2 hours walking in all, depending on the tour, but normally, it is not too demanding. There are at least three stops, where we will sit down. Also it would be advisable to take a bottle of water with you to prevent dehydration, especially on hot and sunny days.

We take 6-8 people to a maximum, depending on the tour of your choice.

A selection of delicious food and wine/drinks is offered. We organize the tours in the way that, at the end of the 5 hours tour, the guests mainly leave feeling comfortably full. For the majority, dinner afterwards is not necessary.

Sure! Just inform our guide before the tour starts. During the tasting you can select another beverage you like! The same applies for children under 18.

We work with small shops in Zagreb. The food and drink we taste is top-quality, fresh and local. We try to present Croatian gastronomy through our food tours.

About the Cooking Class

The meeting point is in Kuhaona culinary studio. The address is Opatovina 13 (above Dolac market).

Absolutely! Prepared recipes are waiting for you and you will be guided by your instructor during the whole workshop. So there is no reason to worry about if you might consider yourself lacking cooking skills.
