Balance in life is easy to achieve (so they say) – love people, animals, plants and food. I combined my love and passion for travel and food on our food tours, and want to share it with everyone. Come and meet me, and I will take you to a journey full of tasty food, the Croatian way.

The main square is always busy during the Christmas holiday season, and home to handcrafted gift stalls, plus houses packed with Croatian delicacies. Here we may indulge in a delicious treat.

The Grič tunnel is a sight to behold at this time of year, the tunnel was a bomb shelter during WW2, and now it’s one of Zagreb’s main attractions. It’s especially worth visiting during Christmas, when local artists and designers adorned the walls with art and light displays. Take in the sights and sounds of this colourful place.

The Upper town has a beautiful promenade dotted with more mulled wine, and food. Cinnamon and citrus aromas permeate the air, with stall after stall offering local food. It may be worth a stop, we will have to see. It is worth coming here just for the breathtaking panorama of the city and admiring the millions of lights twinkle through the city.

Strolling along squares and streets lined with wooden huts, street vendors roasting chestnuts, local craftsmen selling hand-made trinkets, until we reach another food paradise – Zrinjevac square food market. Well, we must try something here. Right?

As this market evolves, and new discoveries are made every year, we can’t say for sure where we will whisk you off to, but we can guarantee that you will be left speechless at the beauty and diversity of our amazing Christmas market, and no one will leave with an empty stomach.
